I took this picture from the Top of the Rock the last February, with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II & the Canon EF 35mm F/1.4 L which is an extraordinary lens, razor sharp with deep contrast and great colors.
I had the opportunity to rent this lens from Adorama rentals for an entire week during my travel to NYC and I really enjoyed it. When back to Italy I ended up buying the Canon 24 mm 1.4 L II because I was looking for a wider lens which had the same quality of the 35 L and…I found out that the 24 L was even sharper from edge to edge.
