I’ve added few more pictures to the travel gallery: MOROCCO (click here for the complete gallery)
Achill Island is one of Ireland’s most spectacular and beautiful places.
Achill Island in County Mayo is the largest Irish island is easily accessible by road bridge from the beautiful Currane peninsula. The colourful landscapes of Achill have inspired photographers, writers and artists, and despite the buzz of people who flock to this island every year, it can also be a place of retreat for anybody looking for peace and solitude. I’ve added one new picture to the MOROCCO GALLERY.
I took this picture while riding a dromedary in the Sahara desert (trust me is not an easy task 🙂 ).
The Ha’penny Bridge known officially as the Liffey Bridge, is a pedestrian bridge built in 1816 over the River Liffey in Dublin, Ireland.
I took this picture back in 2010 (October) during my very first visit to Ireland.

I’ve added 1 new picture in the gallery Italian landscapes: “Gaeta, l’ora blu”
Gaeta is my home town, I was born here in 1984, I grew up here and I’m actually working here. It is a small seaside town located in the south Latium region between Rome and Naples (click here to watch it on google maps).
The place is very quite during autumn/winter seasons (kind of 20.000 residents) but it gets pretty crowded during spring/summer because of tourism.
If you’re planning to spend some romantic nights there during summer then you might be interested in staying at Grand Hotel Le Rocce , a 4 stars hotel built completely on the sea 😉

A new picture named “Exploring Sahara” has been added to the Morocco gallery which you can find by clicking here: https://www.stefanoviola.net/index.php/morocco/
This picture has been taken with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and the Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L IS while riding a dromedary (which isn’t an easy task…believe me 😀 ).
Here are the EXIF data:
Even if it’s been 9 months since my last travel to New York City I still find myself publishing new pictures of the Big Apple (my Lightroom library counts more than 1.640 pictures of Manhattan *_*)

I took this picture from the Top of the Rock the last February, with my Canon EOS 5D Mark II & the Canon EF 35mm F/1.4 L which is an extraordinary lens, razor sharp with deep contrast and great colors.
I had the opportunity to rent this lens from Adorama rentals for an entire week during my travel to NYC and I really enjoyed it. When back to Italy I ended up buying the Canon 24 mm 1.4 L II because I was looking for a wider lens which had the same quality of the 35 L and…I found out that the 24 L was even sharper from edge to edge.
I’ve added 1 new picture in the travel gallery “Morocco”.
The name is “Sahara Nights”, taken with Canon EOS 5D mark II + Canon EF 70-200 F/4 L IS on tripod.
